Four Frankfort Hot Dogs Qualify For Lafayette Jeff Regional With Personal Records

The Frankfort Hot Dogs track and field team boasted an outstanding performance during the Sectional meet with numerous athletes breaking personal records and qualifying for the Regional meet.

The meet saw numerous Hot Dogs set personal records agaisnt the biggest schools in the area as the top-tier competition sparked a fire within the athletes to compete to their best ability. Four individuals excelled in the meet, securing their qualifications for the Lafayette Jeff Regional meet.

Chris Angeles placed first in the 1,600-meter run, Chris Rascon placed second in the shot put, Owen Hudspith placed second in the pole vault and Ethan Hudspith placed third in the pole vault, securing their position in the Regional with new personal records.

The four athletes will travel to Lafayette Jefferson High School for the Regional meet on Thursday, May 23.
