FPD Arrest Three for Criminal Activity

A Frankfort Police Department officer conducted a traffic stop on an improperly displayed license plate. A subsequent free air exterior sniff by an FPD K9 resulted in the following arrest of a Frankfort man.
Arrested was 50-year-old Stephen Craig Weber and he was charged with the following: Count 1: Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 6 Felony Count 2: Unlawful Possession of Syringe, a Level 6 Felony.
The Clinton County Prosecutor has filed an intent to seek habitual offender status for Weber.
Frankfort police officers conduct thousands of traffic stops each year. The majority of these stops result in a warning.
Also, FPD Narcotics detectives made two arrests of Frankfort men after a drug investigation.
Arrested were 19-year-old Austin Klima and 19-year-old Hunter Lee Cacy.
Klima was charged with the following: Count 1: Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Level 2 Felony Count 2: Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Level 3 Felony Count 3: Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony Count 4: Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 5 Felony Count 5: Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Cacy was charged with the following: Count 1: Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Level 3 Felony Count 2: Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony Count 3: Dealing in Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony Count 4: Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony
“Christmas is a time for giving so we are giving drug dealers a chance to move on or face arrest,” stated Chief Scott Shoemaker.  “This is your last chance…that’s unless we already have a case on you.”
All of these arrests were on individuals who were out on bond prior to their arrest.
