A murder suspect was taken into custody late this afternoon in Frankfort. Rossville Avenue was shut down after police had it blocked off while assisting Lafayette Police Department with apprehending the suspect. Frankfort Police Chief Scott Shoemaker says it certainly alarmed the public when police cars took off Tuesday afternoon. The area in question was near Myrtle Avenue and Rossville Avenue. The female suspect was taken into custody without incident.
