Cross country state finals were Saturday, Both Clinton County boys ran very well.
Clinton Prairie’s Hayden Kemple ran 15:54.9, which was good for 45th place out of the 250 boys competing.
Frankfort’s Christopher Angeles ran a 16:20.6, which was good for 115th place out of the 250 boys competing.
This was Chris Angeles’s first time competing at the state finals in XC. He made it to semi-state his sophomore year.
This was Hayden Kemple’s second time at the state finals in XC. Last year, as a sophomore, he placed 92nd. Hayden also won the Logansport Sectionals this year in XC.
