The Community Schools of Frankfort announced that Bethany Meachum will be taking over the Lady Hot Dogs basketball team as the new head coach.
“Frankfort High School is proud to welcome Bethany Meachum as our new Head Girls’ Basketball Coach,” the athletic department said. “Coach Meachum has been involved with our program in the past and is ready to lead our Lady Hot Dogs and build strong, positive relationships with our student-athletes.”
Meachum has served within the program in the past and takes over for Matt Crawford, who was let go midway through his third season last year.
Over the last three seasons, the Hot Dogs went a combined 4-66 from 2022-2025.
Meachum will have a young team in 2025-2026. The Hot Dogs graduated three seniors and have no returning juniors, according to MaxPreps.
