The Frankfort High School boys’ cross country placed third in the eight team Leap Into September meet Tuesday hosted by Southmont High School.
FHS finished with 80 points. Lebanon was the team winner with 19 points as they had six of the top seven runners in the meet. Crawfordsville was second with 74.
Angel Perez was the top finisher for the Hot Dogs as he placed eighth in a time of 19:28.3. Daniel Pritchett took ninth in 19:28.6.
In the girls’ race,. Frankfort finished sixth with 144 points. Lebanon won the girls’ race as well with 46 points. Western Boone was second at 57.

Frankfort hosted Danville Tuesday at Frankfort Commons. Sydney Cesare led FHS with a 41 followed by Emilee Shipley at 45 and Raelyn Mitchell 61.
