The City of Frankfort has announced that due to extremely cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills tomorrow, curbside recycling services will be canceled for tomorrow, Jan. 22.
According to the City, employees ride on the back of the trucks to collect recycling, and the City determined that the temperatures and wind chills pose a significant safety risk.
To avoid waiting until next week for recycling pick up, residents can drop their recyclables at the Street Department from Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
