Frankfort Community Public Library Reinstates Free Math Tutoring Program On Wednesdays

The Frankfort Community Public Library has announced that its Homework Help service has returned with regular math tutoring sessions for middle school and high school students seeking help with their academics.

The program stands as a free tutoring opportunity for students in middle school and high school. Tutoring sessions are set to be held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Teen Department at the library. No registration is required, and those seeking assistance may visit the library on Wednesday evenings without any charge.

Local educator Jennifer Fitch, who formerly taught math courses at Clinton Prairie and is now at Purdue University, leads the sessions for the students.

Community members have also been encouraged to dedicate their expertise for the tutoring programs as the library is always seeking experts to add to its list of tutors. Applications to volunteer may be found online at myfcpl.org. For more information, contact Rachel Milburn at [email protected] or 765-654-8746, ext. 1117.
