Frankfort Eagles Raise Funds For Clinton Prairie Football

The Frankfort Eagles Lodge #976 presented Kurt Schlicher, Clinton Prairie Football Coach, with a check for $3,400 to continue building the program with plans to continue its sponsorship for the upcoming football season.

The donation is intended to support the purchase of HD cameras, huddle assist and huddle sideline, which is intended to provide the team with the opportunity to see every play in real time and formulate a plan for adjustments that may be needed during the games. The donation may also support the purchase of new uniforms, which the Eagles commented was a way to ensure that the team has the tools to succeed while also “looking good.”

“This is the first of many things to come for a program like Clinton Prairie that is committed to building a successful and winning program,” Billy Birge of the local Eagles Lodge wrote. “We hope this is the first of many thing in this big endeavor and sponsorship. The Frankfort Eagles have big plans in the near future as we plan a great sponsorship for the 2024-2025 season.”

The Frankfort Eagles Lodge recently announced a $5,000 Countdown to Benefit Clinton Prairie Football on April 27. The event will welcome two bands to rock out downtown Frankfort with hopes to raise $10,000 to $20,000 for the Clinton Prairie Gophers Football Team.

The event will kick off with Fleetwood 2 the Max, who amazed local community member in October with renditions of Fleetwood Mac songs and the atmosphere the band brought to the Eagles stage. The second band to take the stage will be the Eagles Tribute Band: Victims Of Love, who harness the songs and beats of the Eagles to entertain the masses.

Tickets will be $50 for the shows, and the Frankfort Eagles encouraged the community to stay tuned for the announcement of ticket sales as the members project that the tickets will sell out quickly.
