Frankfort Eagles Raise Over $19,000 For Clinton Prairie Football

The Frankfort Eagles officially counted and distributed its donations that it has raised for Clinton Prairie, resulting in a check of just over $19,000 being granted to the school for its football program.

The Frankfort Eagles announced on Monday evening that the members and staff who bought tickets and auction items allowed for the lodge to present a $19,075 to Clinton Prairie football coach Kurt Schlicher to continue the successes of the team for the upcoming football season.

The lodge members extended a statement of gratitude to those who attended the Saturday night fundraising event that allowed for the community to raise funds for a cause while having an outstanding time at the Eagles.

“First off, on behalf of the Frankfort Eagles, I’d like to thank Clinton Prairie, parents and alumni,” the Eagles released. “This was a great event and a great sponsorship between the Eagles and Clinton Prairie. I’d like to thank Lafayette Eagles for a $1,000 donation on their behalf. Huge shout-out to David Jacobs for all his help.”

The large fundraising event was held on Saturday, April 27 and featured bands such as Fleetwood 2 the Max and The Victims of Love as a benefit to the football program. The event also featured Nick Swan of Southern Accents who sat in during the performances.
