Frankfort Fire, Delphi Police Receive Donations Of Hydrating Drinks During Sweltering Summer Heat

The Frankfort Fire Department and the Delphi Police Department announced that the firefighters and officers received donations from local businesses to ensure that the first responders are properly hydrated and alert as the summer heat continues to affect the region.

The Frankfort Fire Department announced that the firefighters received a donation of cases of water and hydrating drinks to ensure that the firefighters are taking care of themselves before assisting the community.

“They contacted us about running a donation box at their store, and all the donations of these items would be donated to the Frankfort Fire Department,” the department released. “We are thankful to have community businesses so willing to help in all of our needs. These items are appreciated by all who donated, and we would like to say thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, businesses and our community.”

The Delphi Police Department announced that the officers received a donation for cases of water and a cooler of ice from the Delphi BP Quick Pantry to help beat the heat on Monday, June 17.
