The Frankfort Parks Department announced the schedule for the Frankfort Fourth of July Festival at TPA Park for the community to enjoy with a finale of fireworks by the Frankfort Jaycees.
The festivities will kick off with a Pound and Zumba class from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by the welcome ceremony at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 4.
Vendors and bounce houses will be opened to the public beginning at 11 a.m. with three shows of Canines in the Clouds on the newly-remodeled bandstands at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., followed by Midnight Redeye at 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Levi Riggs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at TPA Park.
The community will then be treated to the finale fireworks show at 10 p.m. by the Frankfort Jaycees.
Tune in to WILO 96.9 FM, 1570 AM and Boone 102.7 FM for a live broadcast from 10 a.m. to noon, and join WILO’s own Cindy Loveless at TPA Park for a chance to win prizes. Tune back into WILO 96.9 FM, 1570 AM and Boone 102.7 FM from 9 p.m. until the countdown for the fireworks for another live remote broadcast from Cindy Loveless with a live broadcasted countdown from Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets to set off the fireworks alongside music from WILO.
