The Frankfort High School cross country season officially came to an end Saturday in the New Prairie Semi-State as neither the boys’ team nor girls’ senior Carina Alanis qualified for the state cross country championships next Saturday in Terre Haute.
Alanis finished in a time of 19:56.4, which comes out as finishing 23rd in the event.
On the boys’ side, Frankfort failed to qualify as a team by finishing 19th and did not have anybody qualify for state.
