Frankfort High School Orchestra students who participated in ISSMA Solo & Ensemble contest on Saturday.
FHS received all gold ratings, including two violin solos and a trio that advance to State contest. Gold medalists were: Everett Dick, violin solo; Kristell Gomez, violin solo; Alex Kimbowa, violin solo; Abigail Clendenen, violin solo in Group I, advancing to State; Addison Perryman, violin solo in Group I, advancing to State; Violin Trio with Abigail Clendenen, Kristell Gomez, and Addison Perryman, Group I,, advancing to State.
The following band students who received gold at solo and ensemble: Woodwind trio: Carmina Arizmendi, Brinzlee Sallee, Kassandra Lopez Carrillo; MJ Smith marimba solo; Brass Trio: Adrik Mounts, Paichens Chamberlain and Tyler Harper.
The band students who received silver medals at solo and ensemble included Miracle Haflett, flute solo; David Mendoza, trumpet solo; Adrik Mounts, trombone solo; Carmina Arizmendi, flute solo; Gabby Reyes, clarinet solo; Paichens Chamberlain, baritone solo; Victoria Moss, xylophone solo; Ella Riegle, flute solo; Yahir Ruiz Roman, clarinet solo; Mattie McBee, tenor saxophone solo; Arantza Barrios, Skyler McGowen, Olivia Ramos, trumpet trio.
