Frankfort Hot Dog Hall Of Fame Announces 2025 Inductees

The Hot Dog Hall of Fame Board of Directors recently announced the Hot Dog Hall of Fame honorees for 2025, including three new honorees and an honorary Hot Dog Award recipient.

This year’s inductees include Dr. Robert Carnahan, Class of the 1989 and Professor of Pediatrics and Specialist in Pediatric Infectious Disease, Larry McCoy, Class of 1955 and international radio news writer, producer and humorist, and Dr. Tom Pearcy, Class of 1979 and Professor of History and Latin-American studies.

The Honorary Hot Dog Award will be presented to Janet Priest, a long-time orchestra educator at Frankfort High School.

A special recognition will be given for the Frankfort High School 1925 State Championship basketball team for their 100th anniversary.

The 8th annual Hot Dog Hall of Fame Awards will be presented in the cafeteria at Frankfort High School on Saturday, July 26 at 4 p.m. The 4th annual Frankfort Alumni Hall of Fame Golf Outing, held in support of the Hall of Fame, will be held at the Frankfort Commons Golf Course on Friday, July 27.
