The Frankfort Education Foundation and the Frankfort Hot Dog Alumni Hall of Fame are inviting alumni, friends, and supporters to take part in the 6th Annual Frankfort Hot Dog Hall of Fame Golf Scramble, set for Friday, July 24, 2026, at the Frankfort Commons Golf Course during Hot Dog Festival weekend.
The event celebrates 150 years of Frankfort High School graduates while raising funds for the Frankfort Education Foundation and supporting the Frankfort Hot Dog Alumni Hall of Fame. The scramble brings together former athletes, coaches, alumni, and community members for a day of friendly competition and reunion.
The tournament will begin with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, with entry set at $85 per player, which includes lunch, prizes, and a post-play cookout reception. Participants may register as a preferred foursome or individually to be paired with a team. A maximum of 144 golfers will participate.
In addition to player registration, sponsorship opportunities are available, including $100 hole sponsorships and corporate sponsorship packages. Proceeds from the event benefit the Frankfort Education Foundation while also supporting Frankfort Hot Dog Alumni Hall of Fame programs and community projects.
Hall of Fame officials said proceeds also help sponsor the annual Hall of Fame Awards celebration and support Community Schools of Frankfort initiatives, including Kindergarten Hall of Fame T-shirts, the Frankfort High School Senior Awards Banquet, and the Frankfort High School Band.
Following the tournament, participants and guests are invited to a casual reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Arborwood. The gathering will feature a cash bar, cookout, and the announcement of tournament winners. A non-golfer reception option is available for $15.
The event also provides alumni with an opportunity to reconnect with former classmates, coaches, teammates, and fellow athletes while continuing a long-standing tradition of supporting Frankfort High School and its students.
