Frankfort Launches Campaign to Revitalize TPA Park Basketball Courts

The Frankfort Parks & Recreation has announced a major effort to upgrade one of the community’s most popular recreational spaces, unveiling the 2026 TPA Court Revitalization Campaign.

Officials say the basketball courts at TPA Park—long known as a hub for pickup games and youth development—are due for significant improvements. The planned upgrades include professional resurfacing, new high-quality basketball goals, and enhancements designed to create a “pro-court” experience for local athletes.

“This is about investing in the future of our community and giving our players a court they can be proud of,” organizers said in the announcement.

Sponsorship Opportunities Available

To help fund the project, Parks & Recreation is calling on residents, businesses, and community leaders to participate through a tiered sponsorship program:

  • Silver ($500–$2,000): Donors will be recognized on a permanent plaque at the park
  • Gold ($4,000): Sponsors will have their name or business featured on a new basketball goal (limited to four spots)
  • Platinum ($6,000): Includes exclusive naming rights to a court (limited to two opportunities)

The campaign aims to bring the community together to transform TPA Park into a premier destination for basketball in the region.
