Frankfort Library Seeks Artist Submissions For Nature Exhibit & Hispanic Heritage Exhibit

The Frankfort Community Public Library is looking for artists who are 18 and older to submit artwork for consideration for two upcoming exhibitions, which will be displayed Anna & Harlan Hubbard Gallery.

The first show that we are accepting items for is “Nature Exhibition,” which will be on display during the month of June. If artists would like to have their own nature-inspired artwork considered, the deadline for submissions is midnight on May 9. Notification of acceptance will be sent out no later than Friday, May 16.

The library is also accepting entries for the “Hispanic Heritage Exhibition,” which will be on display during the month of September. If an artist with a Hispanic background would like to participate, they may submit their artwork for consideration by midnight on Aug. 1. Acceptance notifications will go out no later than Friday, Aug. 8.

Submissions for both exhibitions should include up to five images of artwork, along with the titles, mediums, sizes and prices. The Library keeps a 30% commission on all sales. Artists should title their email with the exhibition for which they are submitting. E-mail submissions or questions to Lori Brubaker, Arts & Education Coordinator, at lorib@myfcpl.org.
