Frankfort Library to Host Class on French Colonials

Vicki Green will be teaching a genealogy class entitled French Colonials in America at the Frankfort Community Public Library on Thursday, March 29 at 7 p.m.  Vicki will be talking about the Huguenots and the Acadian-Cajuns as well as other French settlers during the Colonial Era.  She will discuss why they came to North America, where they settled, and the role that religion played in their lives.

Green is a member of the St. Louis Genealogy Society and has been accepted into the First Families of St. Louis.  She has been a member of the Center for French Colonial Studies for 20 years and a board member for the last two.  She has proven connections for the Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the American Revolution, and First Families of Louisiana.  She is an avid genealogist and is committed to supporting French lineage research.
