Frankfort Library to Host From ‘Moles’ to ‘Trolls’ and ‘Botnets’

On Saturday, March 21, at 3 p.m. in Skanta Theater, Dr. Thomas Pearcy of Slippery Rock University will be making a special presentation on the spread of information in the age of social media. Dr. Pearcy will explain how modern technology, especially social media, has changed international relations. He will also give attendees the tools they need to protect themselves from the spread of false information.

This will be Dr. Pearcy’s second time speaking at the Frankfort Library. In November of 2015 he discussed the Assassination of John F. Kennedy. He currently teaches history at Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and is a former Joint Historian for the Central Intelligence Agency/US Department of State. This event is free and open to the public.
