Frankfort Little League Break-In Results in $2500 Loss of Merchandise

Recently, the Frankfort Little League fell victim to a big break-in where $2500 of their merchandise was stolen.

“We had all the concession stand stocked and we were winding down for the end of the season,” said John Eason, President of the Frankfort Little League. “We had a lot of product in there. Unfortunately, I don’t know if it was kids or not. I think it’s still under investigation. We have cameras up now. They broke three windows, were able to get into the third window and took all the products we had.”

The theft isn’t the only problem for the league is they are getting set to host three tournaments on the first three weekends in July. The tournaments are 12-and-under, 8-and-under and 10-and-under.

“We have some cash so we can restock that,” said Eason. “But, it’s a terrible thing that we have to take money from other funds to replace those products.”

Eason added NHK is going to donate a $1000 to help us out.

People wanting to help out can go to the Frankfort Little League Facebook page or the website at frankfortlittleleague.com. Those wanting to write a check may do so by making it out to Frankfort Youth Baseball, P.O. Box 493, Frankfort, IN 46041.
