On Sunday, Deputies responded to a harassment complaint near Antioch. Clinton County Central Dispatch also advised the subject deputies were looking for was possibly wanted on a warrant.

Deputy Greiner located the subject in question off of State Road 38 and after a short foot pursuit, took the subject into custody with the assistance of Deputy Tillman. When speaking to officers, the subject indicated he had methamphetamine in the bag he was carrying. Deputy Greiner recovered a significant amount of alleged crystal methamphetamine, some prescription narcotic pills and paraphernalia from the subject’s bag. The man was transported to the Clinton County Jail.

Arrested was 40-year-old Jason Anderson of Frankfort. He was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 4 Felony; Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Paraphernalia, Resisting Law Enforcement and Wanted on Warrant.

Official charges are pending from the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office. All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Clinton County Sheriff Rich Kelly said, “I am very proud of the response of Deputy Greiner and Deputy Tillman. These officers were able to apprehend a wanted subject, and by further investigating this incident, Deputy Greiner was able to take dangerous drugs off the streets. Well done! This is another great example of how hard our Deputies are working to keep the community safe!”
