Frankfort Man Arrested Following Road Rage Investigation

Reports of a man pointing a gun at another man in an alleged act of road rage resulted in the arrest of a Frankfort man Tuesday afternoon.

On April 15, just before 4:30 p.m., a Frankfort Police Sergeant was reportedly flagged down regarding a victim that reported a man pointed a gun at him.

The sergeant reportedly requested additional units and conducted a traffic stop, which resulted in the arrest of Steven Smith, 35, of Frankfort for pointing a firearm, Level 6 Felony, intimidation with a deadly weapon, Level 5 Felony, and operating while intoxicated, misdemeanor.

The Clinton County Prosecutor will review the arrest and make final determinations on the official charges.
