Frankfort Man Arrested For Distributing Child Exploitation Material

The serving of a warrant in Frankfort led to the arrest of a local man for distributing child exploitation materials from his residence.

On Thursday, Sept. 5, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office reportedly executed a search warrant in the 200-block of Main Avenue that resulted in the arrest of Todd Swisher, 34, of Frankfort for preliminary charges related to child exploitation materials.

The investigation reportedly began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received information from KiK Media Labs that indicated that a local individual was distributing Child Sexual Assault Material at the residence, which led to the warrant and Swisher’s arrest on preliminary charges of distribution of child exploitation material, Level 4 felony, and distribution of an intimate image, Class A Misdemeanor.

Official charges are pending review by the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office.

All subjects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
