Frankfort Man Arrested On Child Exploitation Charges

The Frankfort Police Department reported that a Frankfort man was arrested on counts of child exploitation following a search warrant.

According to police, Frankfort Police Detective Joshua Danner served a search warrant in the 1700 Block of East Clinton Street on Monday, Jan. 29 with the assistance of department detectives, officers and a crime scene investigator.

The warrant reportedly resulted in the arrest of Joshua Robbins, 34, of Frankfort for two counts of child exploitation, a level 6 felony.

According to authorities, the tip that led to the warrant was transferred by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to the Indiana Crimes Against Children Taskforce.

The official charges for the two counts were filed by the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office.

Two pretrial conferences are scheduled for the case, including a conference on March 28 at 10 a.m. and April 25 at 9 a.m. The jury trial is scheduled for May 14 at 8:30 a.m. All proceedings will be conducted in the Clinton County Circuit Court.
