The Frankfort Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #69 voted Thursday to endorse Chris McBarnes for Mayor of the City of Frankfort in the upcoming election.
Last weekend, Clinton County Sheriff Rich Kelly announced he is endorsing Frankfort City Councilman Lewis Wheeler for Mayor of the City of the Frankfort. Earlier, former Frankfort Mayor Chris Pippenger announced he is backing Wheeler.
There will be a mayoral debate on Tuesday, April 30, at 6 p.m., at the Frankfort Middle School cafetorium. This event will be televised live on WILO-TV.
Absentee/Early Voting for the May 7 Primary Election is currently going on at the Clinton County Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, through Friday, May 3. Absentee/Early Voting will also be held at the Courthouse from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, and Saturday, May 4, and 8 a.m. to noon on Monday, May 6.
Absentee/Early Voting will also be held at the Community Schools of Frankfort Superintendent’s Office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, and Saturday, May 4, as well as noon to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 3.
Voting on Election Day, Tuesday, May 7, will be held at the CSF Superintendent’s Office, Paul Phillippe Resource Center and Wesley Manor from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
