The Frankfort Parks Department’s summer Block Party series continues Tuesday, June 10, with the next community celebration taking place at John Redman (3rd Street) Park from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Residents of all ages are invited to attend the free event, which will feature music, food, games, bounce houses, activities for children, and a Touch-a-Truck experience. Organizers say the goal of the series is to bring neighborhoods together while encouraging families and friends to enjoy the city’s local parks.
The June 10 event follows the successful kickoff party held earlier this month at Luther Howe (Green Street) Park.
Additional Block Parties still to come include:
- June 17 — Dorner Park
- June 24 — Lawrence Farrell (Eastside) Park
Each event will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and is open to the public.
