Frankfort Police Say They Are Closing Front Lobby Until April 4

In a continued effort to protect our police officers and office specialists, the Frankfort Police Department will be closing the front lobby. We will not be taking any walk-ins without an appointment for any administrative function until at least April 4.

We are asking the public to call, 765-654-4245, for records requests, firearm permits and any other need that might arise for non-emergency situations. To speak to an officer or to report a crime, call Clinton County Central Dispatch at 765-654-4431. If you have no access to a telephone, there is a call box on the back door of the police department that connects you with Central Dispatch. If you need police reports, you can request them via email to [email protected].

If you need to schedule an appointment to process a firearm permit via email, the address is [email protected]. The best place for our officers and staff to meet with you, in non-emergency situations, is in open air or via telephone. There are no changes to using 911 in emergency situations. Our officers will respond, without delay, as they always would.
