Frankfort Police to Distribute Addiction Resource Cards

Collaborating with Healthy Communities of Clinton County, the Frankfort Police Department will begin distributing addiction resource cards at overdose scenes and when officers encounter someone battling an addiction.

According to Chief Troy Bacon, “Resource cards direct addicts and family members to the office of Healthy Communities of Clinton County where they can receive a Roadmap to Recovery Resource Guide and other valuable recovery and support resources”.

Each card provides the address and telephone number of Healthy Communities of Clinton County. The card also provides a website address to Opioid resources at http://www.beopioidaware.org/

“We understand the enormity of the addiction situation we have in Frankfort. Along with Healthy Communities of Clinton County the police department has taken a definitive step forward to helping people with addictions and assisting those who want help to get it”, Bacon said.

Healthy Communities of Clinton County is located at 1458 Oak Street, Suite B, Frankfort, Indiana 46041.
