Frankfort Police to Host Coffee With a Cop on October 3

Community members are invited to join Frankfort police officers for the Third Annual National Coffee with a Cop Day at McDonalds Restaurant at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3 for informal conversations to build relationships, discuss public safety and enjoy a hot cup of coffee together.

This event reflects our belief that interacting with the community builds trust, strengthens relationships and bridges the gap between the community and police”.

A national initiative supported by the U.S. Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, Coffee with a Copaims to advance the practice of community policing through improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time.
