The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and will gather information about how residents experience hot weather and what resources are needed to keep the community safe.
Questions focus on:
- How well homes stay cool during extreme heat.
- Access to shade, parks, and cooling centers.
- Challenges residents face during hot weather.
- How people receive heat alerts.
- Resources that would help protect individuals and families during heat waves.
Coalition officials say the feedback will be used by local leaders and community partners to develop heat response plans tailored specifically to Frankfort’s needs. The information will also help identify gaps in services, improve available resources, and better protect vulnerable residents during periods of extreme heat.
As an incentive, Frankfort residents who complete the survey may choose to enter a prize drawing for one of the following:
- A $20 Arni’s Frankfort gift card.
- A $40 Hope Collective Boutique gift card.
- A 2027 one-day pass for four to Sapphire Bay Aquatic Center.
