The Frankfort Street Department is reminding residents that trash collection services will continue as scheduled during the upcoming Juneteenth holiday on Friday, June 19.
While many government offices and businesses may observe the federal holiday, residential trash pickup will not be affected. Residents should place their trash carts at the curb by 7:00 a.m. on their regularly scheduled collection day to ensure service.
The department noted that trash collection schedules only change for two holidays each year: Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. No adjustments are planned for Juneteenth.
Any missed pickups may be reported by calling 765-659-2912. Callers should leave their name and address in a voicemail message so staff can follow up and address the issue promptly.
