Last week, students from Frankfort High School visited the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy for a day of education and an immersive experience into the world of law enforcement.
Criminal Justice students from Frankfort High School visited the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy to learn more about the career of law enforcement and speak to officers, such as an officer from basic class 232 who the students dined with during the excursion.
The Indiana Law Enforcement Academy stated that many school corporations across the nation have begun to implement college classes in high school, and some of the classes pertain to law enforcement, such as criminal justice classes.
Students who embark on the educational journey with Wildcat Creek Career Cooperative in Frankfort, which serves Clinton County schools, may receive dual-credit opportunities to pursue their passions, such as law enforcement, through classes with Vincennes University.
“Good Luck to them all as some are finishing their Junior or Senior Year,” the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy released.
