The Delphi Indiana Classic Kitchen Tourney is underway and Frankfort defeated Pioneer at Case Arena Monday night 72-39.
The Hotdogs came out shooting and never looked back. The entire team played well together and held Pioneer to only 39 points. This comes after a big win Saturday night against Sheridan by the score of 65-49 at Case Arena.
Scoring for the Hotdogs Alex Farley. leading the way with 24 points, Kye Kirby 10, Lucas Waggoner 9, Edwin Wainscott and Doug Wood each putting up 7, Carson Hale 6, Isaac Adams 3, Noe Sandoval and Taran Emery each adding 2.
Top scorer for Pioneer was Drew McKaig with 10 and the only player in double figures for the Panthers.
Taylor defeated Delphi in round one also 49-42, Frankfort will play Taylor at Delphi Tuesday Dec.19 at 7:30.
North Montgomery defeated Rossville 38-33 in the tourney at North Montgomery and it was North Newton 42, Winamac
39 at Winamac.
Frankfort Varsity Girls were defeated by Pioneer in round 1 of the tourney at Case Arena by the score 48-14 and will play at 6 pm. Thursday Dec 21 against Taylor who was defeated by Delphi girls 57-19.
