Frankfort VFW Post 1110 is partnering with the City of Frankfort on a project to remodel Veterans Park, with proceeds from an upcoming pork burger fundraiser going toward the improvements.
The VFW will hold the fundraiser on Saturday, August 15, with pork burger sales beginning at 10 a.m. All sales from the pork burgers will go toward helping fund the Veterans Park remodeling project.
VFW Post 1110 is leading the project and is asking the community to come out, enjoy some food and support the effort to improve the park, which serves as a place to honor veterans and provide a gathering space for the community.
The VFW thanked the community for supporting local veterans and helping make improvements to Veterans Park.
