The Clinton County End of Season kicked off yesterday, Wednesday, June 5 with youth teams from across the county facing off in a series of face offs with local teams for their chance to prove their abilities.
The Frankfort Eagles 10U team soared above their competition of Clinton Prairie to secure a win in an extra innings game with a final score of 11 to 10. The Eagles are looking toward further success with their coach Giovanni Morquecho.
The Frankfort Encompass 8U team was also able to secure a win over Camden with a final score of 11 to 10 as they succeeded with their coach Jose Morquecho.
The Frankfort Eagles 8U squad followed in the footsteps of the 10U team by soaring above Camden in a fairly one-sided matchup where the final score was tallied at 12 to 3 as the players followed the instruction of coach Eli Smith.
The tournament will continue today, June 6 and tomorrow, June 7 and Saturday, June 8 across Clinton County.
