Fred D. Canada, 76, of rural Frankfort, died January 23, 2022 at Clinton House. He was born March 6, 1945 in Knightstown, Ind. to F. Dale & Gayle (Philpott) Canada. He married Phylis Ault on July 8, 1988 in Frankfort and she survives.
Fred was a 1963 graduate of New Ross High School. He moved in 1977 to Clinton County from Crawfordsville. He was a self-employed construction worker, barber and worked for his parents’ business, Canada’s Green House in New Ross. He was involved with the Indiana National Guard. Fred enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and building things.

ylis Canada of rural Frankfort, sister: Nana (Tom) Rising in Fillmore, nNephew: Brennan (Katie) Burks along with great niece and nephew, Sawyer and Maryjane Burks all of Springboro, OH, and brother-in-law: George Allen Gooding of New Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Suzan Gooding.
