Fred J. Brock, 89, of rural Frankfort, passed away March 9, 2026 at his home. He was born July 9, 1936 at home in Clinton County to Horace Dale & Amanda F. (Woodruff) Brock. He married Sandra App on August 28, 1954 and she preceded him in death on October 23, 2024.
Fred was a 1954 graduate of Jackson Township High School. A life-long farmer, he also worked at Fairground Implements. Fred proudly served his country in the U.S. Army National Guard from 1963-1965. He was a member of the Clinton County Horse Club, Clinton County Historical Society, NRA and longtime board of directors for Agmax. Fred loved horses and camping, especially in Brown County.
Fred is survived by his brother-in-law, John Benjamin App of Mooresville as well as many nieces, nephews, dear friends and extended family in the community.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Sandra, 4 sisters, Elmira, Betty, Mary and infant sister, Georgia.
Private family services were held. Burial was in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial donations in memory of Fred can be made to Clinton Prairie FFA, c/o Emily Russ, 2240 S.
