FreDona L. Fausett, 72, of Frankfort passed away on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born July 14, 1945, in Burlington, Indiana, to Thomas and Martha L. (Mocherman) Cowell. On September 19, 1965, she married Herman W. Fausett.
FreDona graduated from Carroll High School and attended beauty school in Kokomo. She previously owned Crown and Glory Beauty Shop in Forest and was also an instructor at Rudaes School of Beauty. She retired as a custodian for Purdue University in 2011. FreDona was a past member of the Women of the Moose. She was also an avid reader and a fan of James Bond, Elvis, and Harry Potter.
FreDona is survived by her husband and her daughter, Pamela (Mark) Williams; five grandchildren, Dakotah, Glen, Wil, Marissa, and Olivia; and one great-grandchild, Princeton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Perry Fausett, and her brother, David Cowell.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 4:00 p.m. until the beginning of the memorial service at 5:00 pm. Pastor Chuck Williams will officiate.
