For those wanting to get a head start on cleaning their own properties, Clinton County residents can take advantage of Republic Services Walnut Creek Landfill “Free Disposal Day” at the Landfill from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 29.
Pick up trucks, family vans or cars of items for disposal can be dropped off free or charge that day at the landfill with no trailers, no cargo, box or dump trucks allowed. Proof of residency in Clinton County is required.
Items not being accepted are electronics (TVs, computers, etc.), roofing materials, appliances (washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, etc.), tires, batteries, yard waste, paint or liquids.
