Frankfort’s Independence Day celebration continues Friday as free community events remain underway as part of the city’s Fourth of July weekend and America’s 250th anniversary observance.
A free screening of “Hamilton” will begin at 7 p.m. at the Frankfort Neighborhood Center.
The “Eyes of Freedom” military tribute is also continuing and will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Encompass Event Center in Prairie Creek Park. The traveling exhibit honors the service and sacrifice of American military members and will remain on display through Sunday.
Both events are free and open to the public as the city moves into a full slate of Fourth of July festivities.
