Freida Ann Baird, 73, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at her home in Frankfort. She was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on November 17, 1947 to Ben and Frances M. (Fultz) Brooks, Jr.
Freida worked in housekeeping for RCA, St. Elizabeth Healthcare, and Clinton House. She was a member of Colburn Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed going to garage sales and Goodwill. She had a green thumb when it came to growing flowers and houseplants. She loved watching hummingbirds and cheering for the Indianapolis Colts. She was a loving, faithful, generous lady who would help anyone in need. Above all, she was passionate about her family. She loved cooking for them and spending time with them. They were her heart and soul.
Freida is survived by her children, Michelle Goodnight, Mitchell Hatfield, Kimberly Langkop, Lisa Disinger, and Shawn Baird; siblings, Delano (Maria) Brooks, Dwight Brooks, Sharon Shives, Randy (Connie) Brooks, and Ricky (Gwenn) Brooks, 15 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.
Private family services will be held.
