The Friends of the Frankfort Public Library announced the 43rd Annual Art Exhibition and Sale entitled, Art Unleashed, kicking off this Friday, Nov. 8 and extending through Saturday, Nov. 9, and Sunday, Nov. 10.
Taking place on the second level of the Frankfort Community Public Library, the exhibition will feature the work of more than 90 artists from across Indiana. The art show will feature numerous items to explore, including ceramics, jewelry, photography, printmaking, drawing, woodworking, textiles, painting and glass. Visitors can also enjoy live music during opening night and artist demonstrations throughout Saturday.
Art Show Patrons are invited to a preview party and sale November 8 at 5:30 p.m. until the show opens to the public at 7 p.m. Those interested in becoming an Art Show Patron, simply pledge to spend $60 or more over the course of the weekend. Contact Mindy Emswiller for more details at [email protected] or (765) 654-8746, ext. 1125. Art Show Patrons’ names will be listed in publicity materials if received by Nov. 1, but patrons can still pledge on the day of the preview party.
The Annual Art Show serves as the Friends’ largest fundraiser, helping the library to continue to provide arts and children’s programming. The art show would not be possible without the generous support of the community volunteers, patrons and participants.
