Back on January 23, On behalf of the City of Frankfort, Mayor Judy Sheets proclaimed January 23. 2023 Emma Pillion Day.
Today March 16th marked another milestone for Emma as signs were put up at the gateways to Frankfort. The signs can be seen on State Road 28 East and West and also on State Road 39 North and South.
Emma won the IHSGW State Championship the previous weekend on January 13th, and was the first girl to ever win the Sagamore Conference Wrestling Championship. Emma was in the 113 pound weight class.
Mayor Judy Sheets told Emma how proud the City of Frankfort is of her and her accomplishments.
