Gerber Designs, a full-service screen printing and custom apparel shop in Frankfort, is acquiring Graphics Guardian/Athletic Annex to expand their services and continue to provide high quality apparel, graphic design and print services for Clinton County and surrounding areas.
Both businesses are currently located in Frankfort’s downtown district. With the new collaboration, Gerber Designs and Graphics Guardian will move to a new facility at 56 East Washington Street to combine the two print shops and retail showroom into one location beginning January 11, 2021.
Vicki and David Gerber, owners of Gerber Designs, look forward to expanding their current service offerings, while still providing the friendly and personable service their customers have come to expect. The Gerbers also anticipate many new advantages in offering a retail showroom through this collaboration with Graphics Guardian.
“We’re really excited about offering new and expanded services for our customers and providing a walk-in showroom with standard business hours” said Ms. Gerber. “We’re also glad to be bringing new print methods, advanced graphic design, and embroidery services in-house and to allow more focus on the customer service that sets us apart.”
In addition to printing t-shirts, head wear, uniforms, and other apparel and fan wear, Graphics Guardian, a Gerber Designs Co., will continue to offer an array of advertising and marketing print services, including banners and posters, signs, vehicle wraps and decals, business cards, and other graphic design services under the new collaboration. Graphics Guardian, a Gerber Designs Co., will also offer trophy and awards engraving, a service previously offered only through the Graphics Guardian/Athletic Annex brand.
“I think this is a great fit to combine the services we provide our community. Janae Pedraza of Graphics Guardian is very creative and energetic and will bring an even more innovative perspective to our existing customers. I’m pleased that we will keep all staff on board from both locations through this collaboration,” Ms. Gerber said.
Gerber Designs and Graphics Guardian will continue operating in their current locations at 9 West Morrison St. and 407 East Main St., Frankfort through December 31, 2020 and will reopen in the new combined location at 56 East Washington St. on January 11, 2021.
