The 2026 girls’ basketball state tournament sectional brackets were announced on Sunday.
Here is a look at who and where the local teams will be playing.
Class 1A Sectional 54 – Bethesda Christian
G1 – Clinton Central vs Rossville – Feb. 3, 6:00 p.m.
G2 – Carroll vs Clinton Prairie – Feb. 3, 7:30 p.m.
G3 – Frontier vs Winner G1 – Feb. 6, 6:00 p.m.
G4 – Bethesda Christian vs Winner G2 – Feb. 6, 7:30 p.m.
G5 – Championship
Rossville is the only team to beat all other teams in Sectional 54. Carroll and Rossville matched up in the 2025 Sectional Championship, and are on track to do the same this season.
Class 2A Sectional 37 – Benton Central
G1 – North Montgomery vs Seeger – Feb. 3, 6:00 p.m.
G2 – Western Boone vs Delphi – Feb. 3, 7:30 p.m.
G3 – Rensselaer Central vs Winner G1 – Feb. 6, 6:00 p.m.
G4 – Benton Central vs Winner G2 – Feb. 6, 7:30 p.m.
G5 – Championship
Rensselaer Central is the favorite in Sectional 37, sitting at 18-3. Benton Central is also a strong contender and the winner of Western Boone and Delphi.
Class 3A Sectional 25 – Lebanon
G1 – Guerin Catholic vs Brebeuf Jesuit – Feb. 3, 7:00 p.m.
G2 – Tri-West vs Danville – Feb. 4, 6:00 p.m.
G3 – Frankfort vs Lebanon – Feb. 4, 7:30 p.m.
