Gladys Irene Miller

Gladys Irene (Yoder) Miller, 82, of rural Rossville, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.  She was born March 3, 1936, in Clinton County, to Clarence and Martha (Flora) Yoder.  On April 17, 1955, she married Harley Miller; he survives.

Gladys had attended Rossville Schools.  She was a homemaker and member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church.  Gladys was a charter member of the Rossville Volunteer Ambulance Service and an avid quilter, donating many quilts to charitable causes.  She also accompanied Harley on many extracurricular school bus trips.

In addition to her husband, Gladys is survived by her children, Dennis (Bonnie) Miller, Bruce (Deb) Miller, Roger (Renita) Miller, and Sandra (Mark) Long, all of Rossville; two brothers, Charles (Faye) Yoder, of Casey, Ill., and Keith (Linda) Yoder, of Rossville; 14 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter, Stephanie Miller; and great grandson, Ted Brubaker.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral service for Gladys will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at North Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church with the Home Brethren officiating.  Burial will follow in North Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rossville Volunteer Ambulance Service.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
