Editor’s Note: Due to the cold weather, the food pantry will not run today, Jan. 21. The next food pantry by the organizations will be Feb. 18.
The Caring Center in Boone County has announced that it has partnered with Gleaners Food Bank and the Boone County Senior Service Incorporated organizations to host a mobile food pantry once a month with the next pantry being available tomorrow, Jan. 21.
The mobile food pantry will be held once a month of the third Tuesday of every month and is open to all Boone County residents. The pantry will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. while supplies last at the Boone County Fairgrounds at 1300 E. 100 S. in Lebanon.
The organizations are currently seeking volunteers to help with the mobile food pantry. Volunteers may sign up here.
