Glen G. Pyle, Sr., 88, of Rossville, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Creasy Springs Health Campus in Lafayette. He was born in Terre Haute on September 11, 1932. His parents were Glen B. and Dorothy Pyle. He married the love of his life, Oweetah Biddle, on December 24, 1952; she preceded him in death on June 14, 2017.
Glen was a 1950 graduate of Honey Creek High School in Terre Haute. He served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955. He received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business from Indiana State University and earned a master’s degree from Columbia University. Glen worked as a head accountant for TRW, retiring out of Cleveland, Ohio. After retirement, he worked independently as a contracted accountant for TRW. He was a lifetime Mason, a member in the Scottish Rite, a former member of the Kiwanis, and an avid golfer.
Glen is survived by his son, Glen G. Pyle, Jr. of Dayton, OH; daughters, Rowena (Jim) Morgan of Cottontown, TN, Stephanie (Dean) Bonebrake of Bloomingdale, IN, and Melissa Flora of Rossville, IN; grandchildren, Jim Morgan, Brandon Fisher, R.L. Flora, Kyla Ward, Kirsty Murrell, Michael Bonebrake, and Miranda Bonebrake; and 10 great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents.
Private family services will be held. Genda Funeral Home, Rossville Chapel is entrusted with the arrangements.
