Frankfort Utility Service Board Chairman Mike Kelley issued the following statement last Wednesday evening.
“The Frankfort Utility Service Board has maintained from the beginning that the Governor’s Executive Orders would be the blueprint we would use for the operation of the Frankfort Storm Water Lagoons.
“Today, he modified the existing order and changed the date for recreational areas to open from May 24 to 12:01 a.m. May 22. The Lagoons will be opened for fishing, hiking, and bird watching Friday morning. Please practice social distancing and personal protection measures you feel necessary for your protection and those around you.”
